The Garden

The garden is secure and secluded with garden furniture and a barbeque.

Pets

Pets are welcome at no extra charge but dogs are not to be left unattended.

Safety

Fire extinguisher and blanket and smoke alarms are fitted.

Parking

There is ample parking close by and loading and unloading is possible at any time outside the front door.

Heating

Heating is by central heating radiators.

Candles and smoking

For safety reasons candles should not be used, and visitors are requested not to smoke in the cottage.

The Park

For those with children there are swings etc. in the park which is about 200 metres away

Village Shop, Pub

In the centre of the village are the pub, a good local with excellent food, the village shop with post office and off-sales and a phone box

Petrol and other services

There is another shop, florist, pasty bakery and garage/petrol station and a fish and chip shop about 2.5 miles away, and supermarkets are within 7 miles.

The village community

There are various activities at different times of the year, such as the fete, the carnival, garden and dinner safaris, and coffee mornings once or twice a week throughout the year.
